Maya is a hula hooper and circus artist from St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up she performed weekly in the ring at Circus Harmony, and later went on to study at Circadium School of Contemporary Circus which she graduated from in 2021. Having a background in traditional circus and a higher education in contemporary circus she has a wide array of performance modes in her back pocket.

She has showcased her work at Le Monastére, in her one woman show Hoopla, and on tour with Hideaway Circus’ Canvas Sky.

Maya’s personal style is a mix of technique and character work that showcases the years she has spent getting to know her discipline. She is passionate about creating lively, fun, and honest performances.  Maya loves to be on stage, loves collaboration, and is always thrilled to be a part of new projects.
